The Operations department oversees the completion of all work planned by the Interior Directorate for development, production, logistics, mining, and recycling across the whole of Federation territory. It is a vast department with a workforce trained in almost every facet of work, and extensive training programs operated for new recruits – and veterans – to ensure that whether an Operations Team switches from recycling to production the risks to quality are minimal.
Because of its central role to the continued activity of every other department in the Ministry, it is often commanded by the Minister directly. Otherwise the Director of Operations answers to the Minister and acts as one of the Ministry’s most senior figures.
